About Me

Therapy and Therapists

My own experiences with Hypnotherapy and Counselling have led me to where I am now.  I was fortunate to meet with the right people at the right time and this has enabled me to qualify and practise as a therapist in my own right.  I have continued to update my training on a regular basis and have volunteered and worked with Northamptonshire Rape Crisis and Cruse Bereavement Services.  Part of what drove me to take on this type of work was the need to personally develop and grow and I strongly believe that this need has strengthened and grown for me as the years have passed.

I have been practising as a Hypnotherapist and Counsellor for a number of years and have now relocated from Northamptonshire to Portstewart on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.

I  believe that the clients who come to see me all hold the answers and remedies within themselves.  It is my job to work with them to find those answers and to apply them therapeutically and successfully.  I do not tell clients what to do or how to behave and I do not judge. I reflect and offer them a safe place in which they can explore and choose a path which is right for them.

I am an integrative therapist with a psychodynamic core and I follow a client's lead as to the most effective therapy.  Where appropriate I will introduce elements of hypnotherapy and mindfulness.

I offer daytime, evening and Saturday morning appointments.
